July 02, 2026   |   Read online Markets bouncing after weak jobs data. 57K jobs added in June. Consensus was 115K. So we missed by half. Unemployment ticked DOWN to 4.2% though. Which is... weird. Fewer jobs added, but fewer people unemployed? Either way, futures like it. Why? Because bad news is good news when it comes to the Fed. Weak jobs = less pressure to hike rates. 2-year Treasury yield dropped on the news. Translation: The market thinks the Fed's gonna chill out. So chips are bouncing. Will this move hold?
